Meet Rachael Stone

Colorado Springs Harpist

Colorado Springs harpist, Rachael Stone, is an exceptionally talented musician with giftedness beyond her years.  She began her music education at 3 1/2, studying keyboard, guitar, and percussion.  At seven, Rachael began playing a Celtic lever harp and continues her study of harp playing her French classical lever harp and her 47 string concert pedal harp.  She is in her fourth season playing with the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony.   In 2018, Rachael performed at the Sydney Opera House while on concert tour in Australia and New Zealand.  Individually, many have enjoyed hearing her music at the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours, the Air Force Academy, the Monument Art Walk, and a Colorado Springs City Recognition Luncheon.  Recently, Rachael accompanied the Pikes Peak Philharmonic and the Colorado College Chamber Orchestra holiday concerts. She is a frequent entertainer at assisted living communities and memory care centers including MacKenzie Place, Brookdale Retirement Living Centers, Sunridge Retirement Community, and Sunny Vista Living Center.  Additionally, Rachael plays for weddings, bridal showers, parties, churches, grand openings, and corporate events.   She is looking forward to going on concert tour in Greece and Bulgaria, summer of 2020.

"The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC is so appreciative to have Rachael perform at two of our Business After Hours this past year.  Her performance definitely elevated the atmosphere of both venues.  She not only played beautifully, but I love the way she interacted with the attendees and staff between sets.  It truly enhanced our events and we hope to book her again in 2020."

"We have heard Rachael play at four weddings - her performance is always a highlight of the ceremony.   We were so grateful that she was able to play at our daughter's wedding.  She looked like an angel and sounded heavenly.  It was beautiful."

Cathy Buchanan

"Rachael set the tone for my entire wedding! I picked several songs that were close to my heart and not only did she learn and perfect each one, she also created a set that fit with my selections to play before my wedding so that I didn't have to hand select each one. I loved going to watch her play the week before and hearing every song played flawlessly ensured me that the music at my wedding would be perfect. I could not have picked a better artist to work with."

"My elderly friend usuallly sits uninvolved and passive. When Rachael came to encourage him by playing her harp, he was transformed and so was I. This child is gifted beyond her years."

"Considering the young age of Rachael Stone, her harp playing has a depth of maturity and an advanced musical flow. Her little hands have the ability to create a powerful presentation of both sacred and secular music that will keep you captivated and wanting more.

I highly recommend  that churches, Christian business meetings, business organizations, company groups, or whomever, secure the anointed, musical services of this talented and blessed harpist."
